Thank you for visiting us! My name is Tara Eichorn, and I am the owner and placenta specialist at Prairie Orchid Encapsulation. I have spent the last 10 years working in the healthcare industry, recently retiring to create my own business and focus on work that I truly enjoy. I felt inspired to step into work that was more hands-on, intentional, creative, and family-focused.
The inspiration to become a placenta specialist came from my sister— a doula and owner of a holistic center—who noticed a growing need for safe and reliable placenta encapsulation services in Central Kansas. She encouraged me to bring my background, attention to detail, and love of creative work into this meaningful practice. While I am new to this business, my previous clients have said that my care feels grounded, sincere, and centered on each client's unique needs
